Doing Your Doc: Diverse Visions, Regional Voices
Presented by NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) in association with CAAM

Do you have a personal documentary idea or social change community project that needs development? Are you considering public television funding sources or need R&D funds?

Doing Your Doc is a series of regional professional documentary development/production seminars targeted at the diverse voices of emerging Latino/a, African-American, Asian, Pacific Islander and Native American documentary makers. It provides a 2-1/2 day seminar on documentary project story structure, proposal writing, trailer mechanics and post-production/ delivery planning. It includes general information, a case study screening, and specific project mentoring.

Doing Your Doc will take place in the following cities:

NALIP and the MIT Media Lab
January 11-13, 2008
Boston, Massachusetts
NALIP and the Georgia State Digital Arts Entertainment Lab
January 25-27, 2008
Atlanta, Georgia
